SAIRAC MERITORIUS AWARD handed to HANNES STEYN presented by Marius la Grange
On the 21st July 2020 Mr. Hannes Steyn was nominated for the SAIRAC Meritorious Award by the SAIRAC President Mr. Marius la Grange, 
to be presented at the National Council AGM in August 2020.
This award originated in 1992 to be awarded to any person within the Air Conditioning and/or Refrigeration Industry, whom the SAIRAC Council wish to honour for outstanding service to the industry.
In his nomination for Mr. Steyn, Mr. la Grange wrote:
Mr. Hannes Steyn compiled a very detailed presentation on Ammonia applications. This presentation was filled with facts and figures to use as references. This aligns with current SAIRAC goals to promote environmentally friendly solutions and Ammonia is very much a good overall solution if applied safely and correctly.
Hannes served on the Cape Town Centre committee for many years. He was willing to serve the industry and spent many hours to compile the material presented in Johannesburg and Port Elizabeth Centres on this topic.
