Africa’s biggest dedicated HVAC&R trade exhibition, FRIGAIR Expo, takes place 6–8 June 2018 at Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand, South Africa. Register online now — it’s free! Visit www.frigairexpo.co.za to register.

Exhibitors from more than 145 leading heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC&R) brands (both local and international) have already confirmed their stands and are hard at work to put together another unforgettable show. The show takes place once every three years. Have a look at the 2015 gallery to see what you’re getting in to.

ASHRAE courses and speakers programme: Highlights this year will include three international ASHRAE speakers to present topical short courses during the show:

  • Designing and operating high-performing health care HVAC systems
  • Basics of high-performance building design
  • Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems: design and application

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points are up for grabs. Space is limited and booking essential. Contact ilana@interactmedia.co.za for more information and/or to register.

SAIRAC free to attend seminars: The South African Institute of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (SAIRAC) has put together a very informative free-to-attend seminar programme that will run concurrently with FRIGAIR. Local (and international) experts will share their knowledge — for free! The topics are very practical and cover things you encounter in your day-to-day work life. Check out the programme online.

ATMOsphere network event: You should definitely plan to be at Gallagher on 7 June at 14:30. For the first time ever in Africa, shecco will host an ATMOsphere networking event to discuss the future of natural refrigerants in South Africa and also look at where the world is going. This one is also free to attend, so make sure you book it in your diary now. Bring along some colleagues and friends too – we are making history! Register online
