The South African Institute of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (SAIRAC) had a great turn out and organisers reported back that everyone had a lot of fun.
And the winners are…
All 17 teams received prizes, here’s the top scoring winners:
The winner and recipient of the coveted Evapco floating Trophy for 2018 was Fourways Airconditioning. Each person received a LG Bluetooth Stereo Headset as prize. From left they are: Micheal Killian, Wayne Strydom, Mornay Sutherland and Garry Wright.
Second place went to the team from Cooling Excellence. Pictured here on the field, from left are: Peter Pretorius, Ryno van Zyl, Riaan Venter and Gideon van Zyl.
Third was team Arrow Consulting. Pictured are, from left: Albert van Niekerk, Wayne du Randt and Leandre Nel. (Daniel Holmes was the fourth player.)
Air-Tek Manufacturing came in fourth, from left are: Richard de Vos, Shawn Elkington, Louis Kruger and Hennie Niemand.

Drew Matthews (left) managed the nearest to the pin on the 17th hole and is pictured with PE SAIRAC chairman, Deon Schmidt. Matthews also won the Midea kettle for the longest drive and is the 2018 holder of the Air-Tek Trophy.
